In addition to your colour choice, the finish type of your joinery or entrance door will help you achieve your desired look. Our powdercoat options are primarily available in a matt finish, while anodising offers a frost finish with a slight sheen to the metal. For entrance doors, you can explore high gloss, glass or even special effects that replicate metallic or woodgrain finishes.
Consider the palette of your home as a whole and how different colours might complement or contrast this. Darker colours tend to recede helping to frame views while lighter colours can help to open up a space. The popular colour range is a comprehensive range of 40 popular powdercoat colours that offer something to suit all styles and is a great starting point for colour selection. Please note: there are options available outside of the popular colour range to match more closely with COLORSTEEL colours. Please discuss with your manufacturer.
Consider whether you’d like your hardware to be colour matched with your joinery as this may affect your choice of hardware range and finish. Glass Plasma doors are coloured with an opaque Colourback finish which gives a vivid, gloss look. There is a wide range of pre-set gloss colours to choose from or you can custom match to a colour from another source.
