We offer a comprehensive range of 40 popular colours so there’s something to suit your home. You can also ask your manufacturer about colour options not in the popular range.

Consult with your local First manufacturer for further advice and to request a colour swatch. A word to the wise: when you are making your final colour selection, assess an aluminium colour swatch in natural light.

Duralloy® +PLUS is designed for:

  • Residential buildings and light commercial, less than 4 levels

  • Properties greater than 10 metres from high tide level.


Offers a 15 year film and colour integrity warranty.

Protexture™ is designed for:

  • Residential buildings and light commercial, less than 4 levels

  • Areas where high mar and scuff resistance is required
  • Properties greater than 10 metres from high tide level

ANODISING

Anodising is a durable and colour fast alternative to powdercoating

  • First offers the matt or ‘frost’ finish as standard though traditional anodising is also available
  • When judging colour consistency and integrity of the anodised finish, the accepted industry standard is inspection from a distance of two metres. Some variability of colour can occur and is part of the anodising process. Visible lines in the aluminium on anodised windows and doors are common
  • Anodised finishes change according to the angle at which they are viewed, ask your manufacturer for an Anodised colour swatch to view in natural light
  • Anodising is unavailable in Residential ThermalHEART®

PROTEXTURE™ ENTRANCE DOOR COLOURS

This low sheen entrance door surface finish is purposely designed for high-traffic entranceways. 

The look of the Protexture Powdercoat finish differs slightly to the powdercoating of your aluminium joinery. Ask your local manufacturer to see a sample of the Protexture finish.

Dual colour is available across the range, with the exception of the Slimline Plasma door. Dual colour enables you to match your interior and exterior colour schemes instead of picking one colour for both sides of the door. 

Dark colours may not be suitable for doors that are exposed to prolonged direct sunlight as this may cause the colour to fade, so careful consideration needs to be made when choosing your entrance door colours.

Stand back 2m to inspect

When judging colour consistency and integrity of the finished product, the accepted industry standard is inspection from a distance of two metres.
